OWEN™

One Window. Every Need.
Patent Pending
The idea came from a spam call.

Two years ago, someone called my cell trying to sell me a warranty on something I had no interest in. I hung up and my mind started wandering. Why does getting help always cost something? Why, in an age where you can find anything on YouTube in five minutes, does a customer have to pay for a support contract just to get a straight answer about a machine they already bought?

Then I thought about what we had already built. Over the years, Royal Master had been adding support videos on all kinds of topics. Our customers used them constantly. Then we started playing with AI.

Why not build a personal resource for our customers? Something tied to their specific machines. Their history. Their documents. Ask it a question about your grinder at 11 p.m. when the line is down and the operator who knew that machine best retired two years ago and the manual is in a binder in somebody's office.

That is the gap I wanted to close. So we built OWEN.™

— John Memmelaar, President

OWEN launched in the summer of 2026. Here is what it already knows:

Over 41,000 Royal Master documents, indexed and searchable. Every manual, every wiring diagram, every parts drawing, every resolved service case we have ever produced.

Over 320 machines registered by serial number, each one carrying its own build profile across 13 individual options, feeder type, ram drive, dresser system, axis count, voltage, and more. OWEN does not answer for a model. It answers for your machine.

Seventy-five years of Royal Master history is organized, protected, and thirty seconds away.

Your machines. Your documents. Your data.

OWEN is your personal access point to everything Royal Master. Every schematic, every manual, every service record, every invoice tied to every machine you own. A brand new TG-20x12 or a machine we built decades ago. It is all there.

OWEN knows how your machine was built, down to the separate options recorded against your serial number. When you ask a question, it sets aside the documentation that does not apply to your build before it answers.

What OWEN gives you

Machine documents, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, manuals, service reports, invoices. All of it, organized by machine serial number, accessible the moment you need it.

A great deal of what you need is not in a sentence. It is on a wiring diagram, a hydraulic schematic, an exploded parts view. OWEN looks at those pages the way you would, not just the text printed on them. Ask which terminal the feeder motor lands on and OWEN finds the sheet, tells you the terminal, and shows you the drawing so you can confirm it before you put a meter on anything.

Every answer shows its work. Answers carry references that link directly to the exact document and page they came from. You never have to take OWEN's word for anything.

Ask your question in any language and OWEN responds in kind, drawn from the same Royal Master documentation. Technical terms keep their English original so the words still match what is on your machine.

Your data, protected. Your information is visible only to you and your company. Your service history is not pooled with anyone else's and is never used to train any AI model.

Self-support that actually works. Search what you need, find it, and get back to running parts. No waiting on hold. No support ticket black hole. No frustration.

Three situations OWEN was built for

The alarm at shift change.
A fault code hits twenty minutes before handover. The operator photographs the display, asks OWEN, and gets the fault, the likely cause, and the first two checks with the manual page attached. The first check clears it. The line runs through the night.

The part with no name.
Purchasing has an assembly number and needs to order a replacement. They ask OWEN, get the parts list from the manual for that exact machine, and the order goes out that afternoon instead of waiting on a callback.

The new hire.
Six weeks in, unfamiliar machine. Instead of interrupting the one person who knows it, he asks OWEN for the setup sequence and works through it with the pages open beside him. He learns the machine instead of learning who to ask.

No support contracts. Ever.

A lot of companies charge for customer support. Contracts, retainers, per-incident fees. You call with a thirty-second question and you need a purchase order to say hello.

Royal Master does not, and never will.

OWEN support is ageless. It does not expire, it does not require a renewal, and it does not cost you anything beyond the machine you already bought. Your support is personalized to you, your company, and the specific machines you own.

That is not a promotion. It is a promise.

Questions people actually ask

Do I need to be good with computers?
No. If you can send a text message, you can use OWEN. You type a question the way you would say it out loud.

Isn't this one of those AI things that makes stuff up?
That is the failure everyone has heard about and the specific thing OWEN is built to avoid. It answers only from Royal Master's documentation. Every claim carries a link to the page it came from. And when it does not have the answer, it says so rather than improvising.

What if it gets something wrong?
Check the citation. It is there on every answer for exactly this reason. Any conversation can be escalated to a technician, and those corrections feed back into the system.

Who can see what I ask?
Your own people and Royal Master support. Your questions and service history are not shared with other customers and are never used to train AI models.

Where OWEN is going

OWEN is built to grow. It is a living, breathing platform and we are continuously adding to it. Features currently in development include:

  • Maintenance scheduling and service record tracking
  • Read-only machine integration for automated failure mode detection and root cause analysis
  • Machine data collection direct from your equipment
  • OPC-UA server integration for customers running connected manufacturing environments

Every update makes it more useful. Got a suggestion? We would love to hear it.

Built by Royal Master. Backed by 75 years.

OWEN did not come from a software vendor. It was built from the ground up in-house, by the same team that builds the machines. The people who engineered your grinder also engineered the support system behind it.

That means when something gets added to OWEN, it gets added because people who actually understand centerless grinding decided it belonged there. Not because a product roadmap said so.
